Legacy Society
Our Legacy Society, called the I.G. Greer Society, was formed to recognize individuals, couples, and families who are committed to leaving a lasting legacy in the lives of those Baptist Children's Homes (BCH) serves.
The society is named for Zionville, NC native I.G. Greer. He joined the Board of Trustees in 1928 and, four years later, became superintendent of what was known then as the Thomasville Baptist Orphanage. Not only did he care deeply for the children of his day, but Greer also knew the importance of planning for tomorrow.
The I.G. Greer Society is comprised of those friends who have remembered Baptist Children's Homes in their estate plans. These plans include one of the following:
- Including BCH in your Will
- Developing a life income gift
- Giving a gift of life insurance
- Establishing an endowment
